OK these last 2 complete the Christmas Cards All Year Round Challenge (if you want to see the rest just visit my blog). I also completed the Flutter by Wednesday Challenge and the Crafty Creations! I used one of my favourite Angel stamps. The first one I coloured with Marvy Markers and blended it with water. I cut her out and used pop dots to raise her up. She has a large heart behind in her in glossy green card stock. I used other cardstock(can never recall specific names) in deep purple and a lighter green. She is surrounded by the stars and reaching for the 2 hearts. I used the gold stickers to finish it off. This second card is my first try at Angelina Fibres! I was not sure how it would work out but I think it went well. I coloured the backgound in perfect pearls. I used a blue, purple, magenta, yellow and sparkly white. I then used glitter stickers for the corners and she is also after 3 hearts. By the way I also Popped her up using pop dots! Well here I am writing this all up while the big hockey game is on. I guess i am not a big Hockey fan(sorry, shame on me) but I do have it on and of course, I am cheering for Canada:). I think it is down to the final minute. All in all it is a game (oops sorry to all out there who have just gasped in utter disbelief at my comment:))

Merry Christmas
The 3 hearts are the 3 tiny crystals beside the Marry Christmas stamped image. I stamped it and embossed in Red glitter embossing powder and then I stamped the leaves in back and embossed them. I used the water colour technique with the Marvy Markers and then I cut out the image(my poor fingers) and laid it on top. I cut out the other leaves for the 4 corners and used red crystals to finishe it off.
Nativity
Well not too many people place the nativity in things any more and, even though, I am not overly religious, Christmas is now celebrated for the Birth of Christ. His birth means love, Peace, and Joy. What better way to show this than by the symbol of the heart and since 3 hearts are needed for February's Challenge, it shows the trinity and unties in those ways. I used Green glossy cardstock, stickers in gold and a card that I received before. I placed the image inside the card and cut out the heart to wrap them in it, sort of speak.

To My Best Friend
OK first off, sorry about the background as I was in a hurry so I just used my mat. I tried to combine 365 day Challenge with Flutter by Wed., and Crafty Creations. I used 3 layers-the glossy red cardstock and then I took a basic black and embossed it with pretty birds. I painted them using the twinkling H2O's. I then embossed the
glossy card stock with a heart and I found this nice saying which I think goes for friends and our loved ones. Sincew my husband is my best friend I thought this still worked for Crafty Creations. I finished with a leyer using the black stickles. I hope I met the challenges. Everyone have a fantastic Valentine's day!

Imagine
OK I combined a bit:) First with Creative Creations they required something with wings so Wings it is! I love Fairies, cupids and butterflies so I put all three on. For 365 day cards I took the sketch from Sunday and the trio today to create the image. I used alcohol inks for the green background. I embossed the fairy and used Topiary Tapestry on her for the enoss powder. Icoloured her in with the markers and then used the creatix paints for a purple shimmer on the wings and green on the rest of her except her face and hands. I scallops the edges with scissors. I then embossed the cupids with black ink and clear powder. I added the bow and ribbon(my bows suck by the way-I can never make them look pretty). I ended it with the imagine saying which I used the Vivid Harmony dye ink and embossed with psychedelic powder. Have a fab day! Oh and the paper is that soft paper that I can't recall-if you know, please tell me the name:))
