For My Mom

This is for my mom since it will be her birthday Feb. 10th. She will be a young 82! This was the challenge for 365 day cards. My mom loves black and white with gold so she was my inspiration. I can never remember the card stock but I buy most of my stuff at my favourite store-Duffy's Stamp store here in St. Catharines. I used the Border stickers and I stamped the butterfly image in gold and embossed in Gold powder. Have a great Sunday

Celebrate Spring

Considering it was a balmy -10 (I think about 15 F). I decided to try out spring ideas. I did the 365 days cards challenge-the 3 "S"s-Stripes, Squares, and Spring. Iused some striped paper I had laying around. I embossed the images in Metallic Green and I stamped in magenta and used liquid glass. I used the same metallic green for the wording and then finished it off with gold border stickers. I thought this too could be used in celebration of spring for the crafty cahllenge Wednesdays.

White On White

I never made a totaly white card...wel there is some silver. These are stickers with ornament and leaf design. I used my cuttlebug for the side panels-2 different patterns and 2 differend card pieces with a nice shimmer on each.

Snowflake in Green

I stamped the imageand used shimmer powders and then stickles in red and green. I placed the black felt background(has sparkles in it like a night sky) and did some layering. A traditonal Christmas card

Santas a' Merry

This card, actually, I used the tinfoil that wrapped a chocolate! I liked the foil so much I kept it for about 5 yrs now! I then ised sparkle border and a green braid to finish it off

Filagree with Angels

Michael's artwork created from wood!
The Angels are a sticker. I placed this on Silver mirror card (can you see my camera on the bottom) and the background was done by my Michael! He made a filagree design from stainless steel and then he traced the pattern and placed glitter where the design was. In between he used hi imagination with a pen. He actually did this a while ago and I decided to use this for the card. Just so you know Michael is a brilliant artist-he creates his work from wood. See Above!

Pattern A-Go-Go

Well, I don't use patterned paper too often so I thought I would try it here and use nothing but! I received these from the RAK (what does that mean anyway??? I am at a loss. Call it my blonde tresses:)) soI decided to put them to good use. I finished off the card with some red sticker border and I placed some red Crystals around and amber ones on the tree tops. Stickles finished the card

Cupcake Sweetie

Well I have not done a challenge in eons but with my foot, Christmas and general mahem it was hard to do:) I finally have everything cleaned up and I reorganized my workroom so it no longer looks like a huge mess. I was scared i would end up on one of those cleaning shows regarding my room. Well I decided to make a card for my friend's daughter's birthday which is coming up. I can always count on using some extra paper I save for the Sunday Challenge. I used my cuttlebug as well and decided on making it colourful since here it is rainy and grey. Have a great day everyone

Well I know I have been away. With my dang foot and then Christmas-which I do love I have had no time for cards. I finally cleaned everything up the last 2 weeks, I am out of my air cast and am slowly healing. This is actually for the Dec challenge of Christmas cards all year round. I thoroughly enjoyed getting back into making cards. I used some neat antique style ribbon for the angle card. For the saeason's card, I have no stamp for the leaves so i used a stamp with these leaves on it and then cut each one out and put it together. Anyway these are my lot for Dec...now on to january!
