I did hear about an upcoming film the other day that I thought sounded interesting, but now I can't remember what it is. Love Hanks and Shue and like war films so if everything comes together it should be good.

Rocketman (Taron Egerton)-A biopic about Elton John. It's a well worn genre but at least the music will be good for sure and I think Egerton is good casting.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Brad Pitt & Leonardo DiCaprio)-In 1969 Los Angeles, a former Western star and his longtime stunt double struggle to find success in a Hollywood that they don't recognize anymore. I'm variable on Tarantino and I'm very concerned how Sharon Tate's and the other murders will be presented but with that cast I'm willing to wait and see.joel65913https://www.blogger.com/profile/14526657073681774683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4141871469594180795.post-38053883793139940612018-12-20T14:58:27.519-05:002018-12-20T14:58:27.519-05:00I didn't know they were making a Downton Abbey...I didn't know they were making a Downton Abbey movie. I'm sorry you came down with a co...Hi, Birgit!

I'm sorry you came down with a cold, dear friend. I hope you are back to feeling 100% by Christmas.

Avengers Endgame looks exciting. First thing I noticed about the trailer is how the booming music and sound FX do all the talking instead of having an announcer do voice-over narration. Remember the deep voiced announcer heard on many trailers of the 90s and 2000s setting the scene with the words, "In a world..."? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think narration is used nearly as often on trailers produced in recent years.

If a Downton Abbey film is coming then Mrs. Shady and I will surely want to see it. We never missed an episode of the TV series. Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) is my favorite along with maid Anna Bates (Joanne Froggatt). I am very happy to see that nearly all of the original cast members are taking part in the film and that Tuppence Middleton who played Riley Blue on Sense8 (and is featured on my blog as a "presenter") will be joining the cast. Mrs. Shady is "over" Harrison Ford and therefore I doubt she will want to see Call of the Wild, even if I do. I see that two new Star Trek films are in development at Paramount. Mrs. Shady will want to see them, but I didn't follow the TV series and have zero interest in the film series.

Get well soon, dear friend BB!Shady Del Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07887100141814372022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4141871469594180795.post-5412456942051500662018-12-20T06:13:36.281-05:002018-12-20T06:13:36.281-05:00I didn't realize there was another Star Trek w...I didn't realize there was another Star Trek with Picard coming out.
