I am hoping one of you could help me. I just bought an Apple I Pad air 32 mg and I am learning but the one problem is, how do I get a picture on to my blog here? I wanted to write about the upcoming Oscars and I downloaded a pic onto the pad but I have no ide now how to get it into my post. On the laptop, I would go to the picture screen and there would be a "browse " button which I could press and it would bring me to the documents area and pict, urges area et,c... But now, from here, it doesn't have this. I just has the Picasso album area, URLs etc...
Do you know how to help me?
Thank you🐶
Can you put the photos into Picassa first? I have an old Blogger blog and I looked at it to check and got the same results as you. It works in WordPress, though you probably don't want to know that! My other suggestion would be use an app. Blogger users would be better able to advise, but I used to have one called Posts which added photos to Blogger direct from my iPad.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone far more tech savvy than me can help you out.
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew how to help, but I'm not terribly bright. I have TGIF* stenciled on my socks.

Yeah, it's an old joke, but I'm not smart enough to come up with a new one.
I've never composed a blog post with my iPad, just my computer. Try Anabel's trick. I would think when you go to add a photo, it would let you choose one from your gallery which is where the downloaded image should be.
ReplyDeleteNever used one so the cat is sol when it comes to advice giving here.
ReplyDeleteHave a look at this: http://blogsyapp.com/ Hopefully it will solve your problems
ReplyDeleteI never tried to add a photo with my Kindle. Wonder if I can? Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHey Birgit,
ReplyDeleteAre you writing your post on the iPad? If so, I would download the Blogger Ap from the App Store and us it. The app makes it fairly simple but the picture must be in the photo library on your iPad. If you go to a website that has the picture of the movie poster, tap on the picture and save it to the iPad. Then it will be available to use.
Rick
So sorry, I can't help. I only do my blog with MacBook Pro, not my tablet. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteSorry. I know nothing about Apple iPads. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any advice but I hope you are able to get it sorted out.
ReplyDeleteNot seeing an update here indicating someone has given you the missing link. I have no idea... so, I'll just cross my fingers and hope it works out!
ReplyDeleteRick said what I was going to say. :) Hopefully you are able to follow his directions and you can do what you need to do. Good luck!

Using the Blogger app sounds like the way to go (as suggested by others). I had read somewhere you can just drag a photo onto the add a photo thingy (drag it and drop it into screen), but that worked weirdly for me, so I stopped doing it.
ReplyDeleteI've never used an iPad, but my friends upload images from it and put them on their computers or out on Flicker or Picassa all the time. Here's a link to a Blogger Ap that might help .http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blogger/id459407288?mt=8
ReplyDeleteWe only know about posting via our trusty old dinosaur Windows computers so hopefully you find what you're looking for! Your question is way beyond either of us.
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to say hey. Hope you get it figured out soon.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea about I Pads...I don't own one, so hopefully someone offered advice that works. Thanks for visiting my blog and telling me your road rage story.
ReplyDeleteHave you found the solution yet, Birgit? I'd like to be able to use my iPad to blog, too. I did some research. Without a blogging app, you would need to put your photos first in your Picassa album. The blog app mentioned above isn't available anymore. Too bad, it sounds good. The Apple App store shows an app specifically for Blogger bloggers, but I can't find info about whether it can be used on an iPad.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help, but I don't even know what an iPad is. Tampons are easier, but I had all my lady parts removed. Oh, never mind. You're probably talking technical stuff. I really hope you've found someone to help, because that's incredibly frustrating, and I want to see your Oscar photos.
ReplyDeleteHello everyone-I am trying to get this fixed but, so far, not much luck. I tried the app but I can't get into my blog for some reason. It won't recognize my password. I will keep trying. I wish to thank all of you for responding. This will meant a lot
ReplyDeleteI meant to say This really meant a lot
