It’s Wednesday, Christmas Eve, it’s the big day for me as it’s when we open up the gifts and have the big meal this evening. Unfortunately, I am getting over pneumonia. I’m feeling much better from last week and got to the doctors in time, I finished my antibiotics but am way behind. Just so you know, I am making rouladen, with gravy, red cabbage, peas, carrots and mashed potatoes. I did make my shortbread and my traditional German cookies. I hope you enjoy the Christmas Music and am entering Monday Music Moves Me. Thank you…I truly mean it because you have red my blog and leave comments and I have been very bad in replying. I do sincerely thank you!!

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you've been ill but I'm happy you're better for Christmas. Do enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove,

Sorry to hear about the pneumonia - hope it doesn’t spoil the festivities for you. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're starting to feel better. I had two Christmases in a row where I was sick (the first one I had Covid), so I understand. Bad time of year to be sick.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I LOVE rouladan. I wish my grandma was still around to make it. Mine just isn't the same.
ReplyDeleteSo much sickness going around where I live; I hope you are feeling much better today. The Boston Pops music reminds me so much of the WPIX Yule Log (four hours of Christmas music accompanied by a picture of a yule log) from my New York City childhood. Merry Christmas to you.
ReplyDeleteThis is Birgit and am feeling better..slowly. I have my recipe for rouladen, Brittani, if you want it. You can compare and try it. My Christmas was great even though I was not well. I hope ll of you enjoyed Christmas.
