For Niece #2
Animal Friends Challenge - Happy Birthday
This is for my niece Jade who is one for more simpler things so that is what I went with. I stamped the dragonflies in blue and embossed it in blue on a green vellum paper. I stamped the Happy Birthday also in blue. I mounted it on this orangy-red card stock and then on this yellowy-green card stock. I coloured in the wings with creatix paint in iridescent blue and used stickers for the corners. Simple but effective I think.
That's a wonderful card for your niece! She'll love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I think she will
DeleteLovely. You are very talented.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeletePretty. Very effective!
ReplyDeleteOh Great! I wanted them to stand out.
DeleteThat is adorable! It must be fun to work on cards for those you love and design them with what you think they might like :)

Thank you:)
DeleteYou do beautiful work. I use to do a lot of stamping cards. I spent a lot on buying the stamps and supplies and then I just got out of the habit. All the stamps and now in boxes out in the garage. I should get them out and get busy again. You are inspiring me to do it again. Keep up your good creative work. Hugs, Lura
ReplyDeleteOh you should bring them back to the light and create some nice cards-it would be nice to see
DeleteThe green and blue work perfectly together. The fancy stamp for the sentiment is very elegant too. hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much:)
DeleteDragon flies are very pretty! I find it so endearing that you made the cards. Happy birthday to niece #2!
