To everyone who looked at my blog for the A to Z Challenge I just want to say a special thank you. It was wonderful reading all your kind comments as I was very close to not joining in, but Alex the Ninja was a guiding light and I decided to take it on and I am very glad to have done so.
If you read my posts you know I love Jimmy Stewart and he is my favourite actor. I have his book of poems and they became famous when he recited them on Johnny Carson. Above he recites his poem about his dog. Yes it made me cry and I don't care-it was sweet!
I also love animals and am following a couple of blogs that I found during my A to Z and told them of my beautiful Katie girl, my black lab, who is with my dad now probably traipsing in the bush somewhere. Our current dog is our Wallace who is a rescue and is all fun and playful until he has to go outside and then he shivers and freaks-absolutely terrified after all these years. Yes he is also known as chunky chunk and fart boy-boy can he let them rip and it sounds like a trucker (meaning no disrespect to truckers). So here are my 2 below:) oh and yes Wallace has 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye.
This is Katie
This is Wallace

Thanks again!
Your pups are adorable! Glad you joined in with the Challenge. Reading about all those old movie stars was fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex!
DeletePuppy pictures. YAY!!! I love my dog. I spend all day getting up to let her out, let her back in, let her out, let her back in. I don't know what life would be like with multiple dogs clamoring for attention. I'd probably just have to learn to write standing!
ReplyDeleteOh Katie was like that-in and out but Wallace is scared of the outside so he is happy inside until we need to take him for a walk, then he hides and shakes-poor thing. We have tried everything but whatever happened to him in Louisiana has stayed with him
DeleteBeautiful furbabies, Birgit. SO cute! Cannot imagine life without ours. They make all the difference, don't they?
ReplyDeletexxx Asha
They are great to have around as they give love and happiness always-I can't imagine life without a pet
DeleteOhhhhh...what sweet 4 legged children . I miss our girl . We raised her from a pup. She died at 11.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of the dogs with Katie....so sweet
My Katie was 13 and it is so sad-I miss her terribly. Actually Katie is with our 1 pussy cat Jade who loved Katie and now Wallace
DeleteP.s. Congrats on finishing A to Z..... Good job
ReplyDeleteThank you and you too!
DeleteYes, I'm one of those persons who go ga-ga over photos of dogs and cats together. Seeing yours makes me think yet again that Molly the Cat would love a canine friend, as would her humans.
ReplyDeleteThe View from the Top of the Ladder
Oh I think you should get a friend for your Molly. She will love it.
DeleteHow sweet with the pictures of the dogs :) It was fun to meet you during the challenge and to read about the actors/actresses you featured. I almost feel a little let down today, LOL :)
ReplyDeletehope you do it next year!
betty
Love my doggies and it was great to meet you too. I was actually thinking of doing the same next year as there are so many....:)
DeleteHow precious. Nice to meet your fur babies.
ReplyDeleteThank you! My fur babies are great
DeleteI love pets, too. Yours are adorable.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making the finish line, and I look forward to visiting you again.
Best,
Deb@ http://debioneille.blogspot.com
Yes we made it!! Now more cards to make and posts to create
DeleteThat Alex could talk the stripes off a zebra, which is why I ended up doing the A-Z this year. But we all survived! Yay! I love the pics of your pets. I've never seen a cat and dogs look so happy together. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny:) Thanks and she loves the doggies
DeleteYour dogs are so adorable. It is so sad that dogs have such short life spans. I had Darryl for 14 years and it's hard to believe he's been gone for over 4 years. But it's hard to imagine life without our little Angie girl. I very much enjoyed reading your posts throughout A to Z.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard when they pass as they are part of the family. Thanks-I am glad you enjoy the reading:)
DeleteI am glad that Wallace has found a good home and new best friends. I do hope that he will eventually learn not to be scared of the outdoors x
ReplyDeleteI hope so but I have my doubts as we have had him since 2009 and tried all we could and still he is terrified-poor thing
