Yup-It did it again!

So, yesterday, I was looking at some things on youtube and the sound went. I knew the computer was acting up. I could still look at my blog but i soon left and decided to shut it down.

My hope was, later on, all would be right in the world and the computer will have decided to change its mind and  work like it should. Oh wait! Did you see out your window that pig fly? I have made a couple of cards I wanted to download, one pertaining to the recent Battle of the Bands but I can't because of this ^%$# computer!

It states there is some major error (like before) and no icons on the bottom left were showing up. When I tried to go on google chrome, it was still loading after 20 minutes. My ex won't return from his camping trip until the weekend. My hubby, bless his heart, will get the rolling pin over his head if ever he says he will upgrade the computer in the future. I know some have had no issues with it and others have, of course i am in the latter part.

If you do see me on at night, that means the computer from hell has decided to work again. I am at my work right now so must get back to work before I sign off. I might just sign off later on with a few Vodka and orange.  This is one frustrating $&(^#$ experience. My lumberman ways are coming out...sorry:)

  1. Oh NO! I'm sorry, BB. I feel your frustration. G-Chrome has longstanding compatibility issues. I know that from experience. I hope you get things resolved and get back up and running soon!

  7. My computer is seven years old and starting to give me problems. I no longer get updates to download because nothing in my computer is being supported. I know a major expense is coming but for now my head is in the sand.

  8. Tell hubby to bite the bullet and buy you a new computer. Darn it!
And Pat does have a point...

  9. Enlisting a PC company (think of it as a vacuum cleaner and duster) has kept my computer honest.

  12. My laptop is on its last legs. In my youth I would have spent the time to take it apart, replace the components that were failing, format and re-install Windows, etc, but I really don't have the time and patience for that anymore. At this point all I can do is just back it up regularly and just wait for the inevitable day it craps out for good and I have to make a trip down to BestBuy.

  13. Oh dear!! Its been such an ordeal for you! I am always afraid to do any type of upgrades for fear of such a thing happening. I am thinking your hubby will probably never venture to do another upgrade.

  14. It seems like every time Microsoft comes out with a new version, that version has serious problems. This one is the worst yet. I do hope you can find a way to get it resolved.

  15. Hugs Birgit! My laptop crashed the day before yesterday. And when I say crashed, I mean literally, along with the table it was on. Grrr. Technology - damned if you do and damned if you dont!

  18. I am dependant on my computer. I'd be lost without it. I'd like to give you a virtual hug but you'll need a computer to receive it. Hopefully order will be restored soon.
