Yippee! Thanks to my ex, I am now able to get this working. I have been using the old search engine and he said it is best to go to Google chrome. I don't know why one works and the other doesn't but this is why I am not a computer geek. I am a geek in many other things but not that:) I was able to get one card done in my busy time and I am glad about that. Ask me what I have been busy with and it is nothing like saving the world, organizing my life or pondering the meaning of life, it is just the regular stuff we do every day, you know...boring stuff. So onward to another week ahead.....Is it Friday yet?

ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I was glad to participate
DeleteLovely card. Glad you got pics working again. Funny how technology works, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have no idea how it works as long as it does:)
DeleteT.G.I.F., dear friend BB! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas so let me be the first to wish you a happy Easter! :) I love the infinite variety of snowflake patterns and love your card!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Happy Canada Day! Happy Halloween! Might as well try to get as many in eh? :) Thank you about my card!
DeleteYarp...I had to switch to Chrome about two years ago because of the same problem.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why the regular internet doesn't work but I probably wouldn't understand anyway.
DeleteYour ex is a gem! I'd say he was a keeper, but that just doesn't seem right...
ReplyDeleteAnd look who is getting the jump on Christmas? Beautiful card!
He is a keeper....as a friend. Marriage was not right for us at all. Thank you about my card:)
DeleteThat is a lovely card. The colours, design and composition are excellent. Someone is going to be very pleased to get that in the mail this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're fully functional after the Windows 10 debacle!
Thank you! I am planning to make more since I still send these suckers out:) I am glad this is working now
DeleteYea that you were able to figure out how to post a picture! Such a cute card! These weeks seem to be flying; I can't believe August is almost over!
ReplyDeletebetty
I know what you mean about end of August. To tell you the truth, I am looking forward to the colder months but I wish Christmas was just a little further away
DeleteOh no! You mentioned Christmas again. Lovely card, though. Your Windows 10 problem sounds different to mine, but I remember when I was using Blogger having to switch around browsers after upgrades. One of the reasons I moved to WordPress!
ReplyDeleteAnabel's Travel Blog
Yes I did mention it and will more and more. I love my blog and how it works since I understand it much better.
DeleteCard is lovely. I switched to Google Chrome several years ago mainly because the blog posting is easier.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea and still wonder why the other would be having so many problems...oh well at least it is working.
DeleteRefreshing to hear you have a good relationship with your ex. Nice card, and I'm glad you've resolved your computer woes.
ReplyDeleteThanks about my card. My ex and I started as friends and now we remain good friends. If we keep the respect for each other then things work out plus I'm not a bitch and he's not a jerk:)
DeleteGood that you are back up and running once more. Card is great and before you know it christmas will be here.
ReplyDeleteI know! I am dumbfounded how fast the year has gone.
DeleteI just love your use of the CTD colors for a Christmas card...this is sooo pretty!!! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much and I loved that picture you used as inspiration-wish I had a white tiger stamp

ReplyDeleteThank you! I love your cards so much so i take this complement as high praise indeed. It is back to sticky and hot again-ughh!
DeleteA good time to pull out the projects now that the weather is changing. I love this time of year and your new card is a terrific opener. I wish I could remember why Google Chrome didn't work for me, but I know others like it! (Could be I need a new computer)
ReplyDeleteThanks about my card and yes I am looking at pictures and thinking about starting a scrapbook. You would be asking the wrong person why google chrome doesn't work for you:)
DeleteSo glad you switched to Chrome. It does a lot more than Safari. Always change and it's hard to keep up. Loved the card. Wish it were about Happy Fourth of July and not Christmas, though. I'm really terrified of that holiday.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas but it just seemed I put away all the decorations so I could wait another year:)
DeleteYou're gearing up for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou're a geek in good ways.
I take my geekness with great pride:)
DeleteI love all the texture in your pretty snowflake card! Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us this week at the Color Throwdown!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much:)
DeleteWhat a wonderful card resonating festive good spirit and pure awesomeness. The year is flying away.
ReplyDeleteThanks and it is flying faster than the speed of light.
DeleteHi this is a gorgeous Christmas card. Thank you for joining us at Alphabet Challenge Blog challenge N for no design papers. Hugs Jackie (DT)
ReplyDeleteThank you and I love this challenge
DeleteWell I am glad you got it up and working again! And what a great card to be able to post. Such a textural background and a super lovely design.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much and I really take this to heart since you make such gorgeous cards.
DeleteVery pretty. But have mercy! It's not even September until tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHahaha no rest for the wicked.:)
DeleteIt feels like Friday, but that may be because we went out to dinner than watched a movie with the Mama. Now to get unlazy. I love your imagination, Birgit. This card is so cool with its crystals, beads, and ribbon.
ReplyDeleteI wish it was Friday:) Thank you so much that you like my card:)
DeleteHoly crap, is it Christmas already?
ReplyDeleteIt'll be here before you know it:)
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteSome browsers have glitches. My husband has to use Firefox to get on Facebook because IE goes goofy. I us Chrome for Facebook because Firefox won't let me in. One time IE made my Yummy Stuff blog all weird but it was fine on Firefox so I had to go in and redo it. I don't have a clue what that was about.
I don't even begin to understand how these things work as long as I can use it and it is fixed:)
DeleteLovely card, but I don't want to think about Christmas just yet. ☺ So glad you were able to solve your image problem. I use Chrome all the time and it works very well.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I know what you mean because I feel I just put my Christmas stuff away just 2 months ago.
DeleteNormally, Birgit, I curse about Christmas anything, especially when I'm not prepared for the holidays. But visits to your fun place here, always make me smile. Very pretty card.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much...yes I know especially when the stores put stuff up before even Halloween
DeleteSorry, Birgit, not Friday yet.....
ReplyDeleteLove the card. You are so good.
Thank you and today is hump day!
DeleteThat is a gorgeous card anyone would love to get at Christmas.

DeleteThis is lovely, Birgit. Simple and elegant. That why I love embossing - adds an extra special touch to projects.
