  5. Happy New Year, dear Birgit. Get well soon, or NOT, since this is just too funny. The corkscrew? Somehow I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it. This is

well, unique and shows your sense of sick humor (pun definitely intended).

  7. 😲 I started watching this with my mother in the room. Fortunately she is quite deaf! I shall now look at ducks in the park with new eyes. Hope you feel better soon. Happy New Year!

  8. So cute with the ducks! I had a mama duck and her 12 ducklings show up in our front yard when we lived in Billings, Montana. It was quite a magnificent site to see and then when she left, I panicked as she had a busy street to cross with all her ducklings. I went out and made sure they all made it to the other side of the street safely.

I do hope you feel better soon. Being sick around the holidays is not a fun thing!

    Happy New Year!

  10. Hi, Birgit!

I thought I'd come to see you first before replying to your comment on SPMM (for which I thank you very much). That duck porn video takes TMI to a new level, doesn't it, dear friend? (And I am not referring to Three Mile Island.) I remember learning a few years ago about the case of a male duck that humped the carcass a deceased male for hours on end. "It's a jungle out there," says Mr. Monk. :)

Dearie, I am sick, too, and have been for several days now. I have a bad head cold. I wish us both better health as we move through 2019. Thank you very much for your ongoing friendship and support, dear friend BB, and happy new year to you and your family!

  12. I'm sorry you're sick. I hope you feel better soon. It seems like everyone I know has had this thing. On the plus side, we're getting our yearly cold out of the way early :) (We're only going to get a cold once per year. I so decree it!)

    1. Hi Sandra....I made it through today but feel so dizzy and quite drained. I will see how I am tomorrow since I have to get up early...today was a late day so I didn’t have to be at work until 11:30...thanks so much for your caring support❤️

  15. hahaha. If I were more responsible, I'd take care of a duck. I'm sure Molly the Cat would be happy to be friends with a duck. Our city allows us to have chickens in our backyard. I wonder if ducks count. But, then, I don't want to be responsible for another living creature right now, so why do I even wonder. Happy New Year, Birgit. Hope you're feeling much better.

  16. Hi Birgit - that was amazing and yes I did learn a fact or two I wasn't expecting ... extraordinary!

I hope you'll start to feel properly better soon - and have a good year ahead ... ducks - well I even one to roast - I'm now wondering about it!!

Cheers and take care - Hilary
