Happy New Year!!

Would we ever wish Have a Decrepit New Year? I don't think so...we wish nothing but the best...for most people:) Some of us are probably happy to see 2015 go while others had a great year. I noticed my year seemed to be a resounding....meh. I need to do more, not sure what, but I want to create more cards.

Yup, my First card for the year and it is a Christmas Card! You thought it was over didn't ya? Oh well, nothing like getting started  right now for next year.

Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge-Vintage/Anything Goes
CHNC2-Anything Goes as long as it is Christmas
Dream Valley Challenge- Christmas
Glitter N' Sparkle-Anything Goes

I enjoyed making this card to get me back into the swing of things. I used my Pencils on the Furbaby, the cuddlebug, ribbon, fussy cut out holly and crystals. Traditional red and green and why not. Let's see what the year will bring. I am looking forward to making tons of cards, talking about film, the A to Z in April, moving my ass since chocolate called my name all Christmas long and having a great year. Have a great year filled with blessings, health and joy.

  1. I might wish someone a decrepit New Year if I hated them. I could draw it in goat's blood on the side of their car. Well, with that said, Happy New Year! May your 2016 be considerably less crappy than everyone else's.

Also, I love the card. The cat is so well done. My (drawn) cats always look like something a 6 year old colored for his mom in kindergarten.

  2. I love the card too. Trust ABFTS to come up with that idea - why goat's blood I wonder?

I do wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year Birgit and I won't paint it on your car either.

  4. Hi, dear Birgit! Happy New Year! (It's already whizzing by and will soon be over! :)

I don't know of anyone who had a fantastic 2015. Every year manages to be a mixed bag and no happy occasion goes unpunished. :)

I am loving your kitty kard with its eye pleasing color combo. That delightful greeting card put me in the holiday spirit, so let me be the first to wish you a very Merry Christmas 2016! :)

I wish you a great year and a wonderful week ahead, dear friend BB!

  5. A prrrrrrrretty card. Let the 2016 puns begin! People must be telling us something. The Husband and I only got one box of chocolates and it's almost gone. So I'm thinking we ought to have French Toast for dinner. Let the 2016 nonsequiturs begin as well!

  7. So cute with the card :) I bet it is one of those things; you always have to keep on top of getting cards done if you want them ready for the holidays or birthdays :) I hear sign ups for A/Z are January 25th. Got pretty much all the letters figured out, just have to collect what else is needed :)

Hope it is a very happy (and not decrepit new year!)

  25. I really do not do the New Year's Resolution or year reflection thing, and I prefer to focus on day to day adventures. I feel every day can be a new beginning, and this living in the moment has helped me to stop obsessing about the past. I used to do that a lot, and I am still trying to break this habit.
